I’ve got to be honest and tell you that this whole trip idea didn’t come from me in the first place. My friend, Laure is the instigator of this. About a year ago, she skyped me and started talking about her round the world project, a one year trip to South America, New Zealand, Australia, South East Asia and India. I liked the idea and decided to join her for the last bit of her trip.

I met Laure at Uni back in Lille where I come from. Funny enough we became friends only after we left school. Our foreign experiences, her in Italy and me in England brought us closer to each other and a week-end with her in Venice finished sealing our friendship and our travel plans. She flew to Lima in August this year with her mate Kawatar, who she met on Internet when planning her round the world adventures.
